Artistic approach

Artist Linda Lamontagne is a self-taught painter and colorist preferring oil painting. Oil paint offers many variations in tones due to its drying time compared to other mediums. The artist uses cheerful and harmonious colors.

His interest in the visual arts has guided his choices in life. The shapes, colors and perspective offer him a variety of pictorial choices. Architecture united these three themes in a single subject, namely houses.

In her compositions she uses dynamic lines provoking pictorial destabilization. The existing subject becomes precarious and a completely different vision is required, that where childhood has no worries. Its interpretation promotes a new balance. A change begins and offers a less rigid pace than the existing one.
